![]() ![]() I have tried the famous accesability fix but no dice on that either. In the very late 0.9.8 and now in the 0.9.9 it got ALOT easier to build. ![]() We had to entirely disable the function to actually get it back to working.Īnd this was just ONE of the many issues we found. This is when AreaScout found the faulty commit and the reference to the hardfloat issue. ![]() The version 0.9.8 had about 1500 commits and starting by around 700 or so it causes the emulator always to crash. in my early versions, i ignored that, it actually increases speed on the emulator, but caused a bug that was turning elemets 45° in each dimention which looked really bad, and also prevented some games to start. I still have some patches of mine which touched like 10-15 files of the PPSSPP source code to fix issues they put in.Īs stated here the entire code there was never meant for hardfloat devices. ![]() But i guess it needs to find the controller to do so, and for some reason, they seem not to be able to do so under Linux (no clue why).īuilding PPSSPP got alot easier. it seems to have a mapping for Xbox360 controllers. The second file i have no clue when this is used. i tested each button and switched the SDLJoyButtonMap to match the xbox360 wireless controller. You can create a starting script for PPSSPP that will only start xboxdrv when you play PSP games and ends after that. I will probably update 0.9.9 soon and with that repatch the XBox360 wireless controller mapping. if i set it up so they work, yours won't, so i have to choose one mapping and others "have to deal with it" (as bad as this sounds). if i change it so you can use the Controller, others will not work. Install xboxdrv it's an tool that allows you to remap buttons of your controller to match an xbox controller (which is funny since you already use one^^) with that you might be able to remap the buttons to match an xbox360 wireless settings and this should work for everyone with the same issue and other controllers. means you can't change options over the GamePad for many controllers. so the win32 option might be a solution that "might work" gererally but will probably result in a non working option menu. the WIN32 option worked in a way, that you could actually setup the controller, it also seems to work for PS3 and other controllers. one is for WIN32 machines (Windows) and "everything else" the everything else option normally ended up in a way you can't even move within the menu without triggering an action. WHY? Cause i have one, cause i gave this to my nephews which are 7 and 3 and they don't even have a keyboard connected to the ODROID, just the GamePad so it HAS to workĪs you noticed, this sometimes messes up other controllers.Īctually there are two predefined mappings. in the 0.9.8-1 i remapped all these buttons so they fit an XBox 360 wireless controller. So basicly they say "input button 1 is up key, imput button 2 is down key" and so on. Joystick is a b*tch in PPSSPP they hardmapped SDL Input to certain buttons, sadly these are different from device to device. ![]()
